Queensland Fire and Emergency Services SharePoint migrations

We have recently completed the migration of Queensland Fire and Emergency Services Intranet and Teams sites to SharePoint Online.

These were both large projects with the Intranet migration consisting of over 100 sites, large customisations and a customer base over 5000 users.

The Team sites were migrated and then converted to the new Modern interface. This has provided many benefits including more visually appealing sites, easier page editing capabilities and mobile responsive layout.

Queensland Fire and Emergency Services were a great partner to work with and are one of the first Queensland government agencies using the new SharePoint modern interface.

The SharePoint migration project is explained clearly and shows how systems can improve efficiency. It feels technical but easy to follow. I remember when I had to do my chemistry exam for me while learning about such tools, and it was challenging. This post highlights how technology simplifies complex work.
